Accelerate digitisation
In order to stay technically viable in this digital transformation, companies must increasingly switch to hybrid cloud environments so that their data, applications and services are available from anywhere in the world and around the clock. This in turn requires new security approaches as the data and applications become more exposed and thus offer more attack surface.
First and foremost, applications and APIs need dynamic protection against attacks. In addition, a mature customer identity and access management system must be in place, and an additional security level is required in the cloud. The data is no longer stored in the company but with a cloud operator. The attack surface becomes even larger and legal questions arise regarding data residency requirements, C-level liability or pseudonymisation in the DSGVO.
It is also very easy to see that multidimensional IT architectures are required here, which also require complex installation, configuration and commissioning.
