Softshell Vendor Award 2019 – Airlock again awarded with gold

Airlock, a security innovation from Ergon Informatik AG was able to pat itself on the back for the third time in a row. During the Softshell Vendor Awards, the Swiss IT security solution received the top mark of 10 points and thus the gold medal. The company had been awarded the coveted medal last year too.

He also confirms that the strategy is successful on the German-speaking market and accepted by partners.”

The Softshell Vendor Report breaks down how successfully providers move on the German-speaking market, which countries they come from and which technologies they use. Softshell has been assessing the market readiness of companies using a score since 2015. A quality seal has been awarded since 2017.

The award itself assesses the market presence of the nominated companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and shows how well the company and the products are designed for the special particularities of the DACH region. The focus is on criteria such as German-speaking customer service, German user interface, local sales teams, pre-sales teams, resellers and references from the region. For this purpose, Softshell creates the report every year based on the results of market analyses, telephone surveys, personal interviews and internet research.

With the help of the Airlock Secure Access Hub, a centralised IT security platform that houses the web application firewall, identity and access management and API gateway, Airlock was once again able to win over the jury.
