The Web Application Firewall from Airlock once again convinced the readers of the Vogel-IT publishing group and came out of the vote with silver. Airlock had already received the award in previous years.
The Swiss security solution also had to compete against strong rivals this year.

The Airlock Secure Access Hub itself is a security platform that combines web application firewall (WAF), customer identity and access management (cIAM) including integrated two-factor authentication and API security gateway, under one roof also as a microgateway. The special trick: to optimize the protection performance, all components are coordinated with each other. For example, the WAF intercepts requests from outside and checks their trustworthiness before they even reach the back end. Last year, the Secure Access Hub was expanded to include the 2FA component. The strong authentication with Airlock 2FA is particularly user-friendly and cost-efficient due to the supported one-touch procedures. In addition, it complies with current legal requirements such as the DSGVO or directives such as PSD2.
