However, one topic of the future attracted particular attention: self-sovereign identities or decentralized identities.
Our congress titled “The (r)evolution of digital identity” took place with renowned experts. Exciting contributions from Martin Kuppinger, founder and principal analyst at Kuppinger Cole, Dipl. Ing. Martin Kuppinger is the founder and Principal Analyst responsible for the KuppingerCole research. In his 25 years of IT experience he has already written more than 50 IT-related books and is known as a widely-read columnist and author of technical articles as well as reviews and is also a well-established speaker and moderator at seminars and congresses. His interest in Identity Management dates back to the 80s, when he also gained considerable experience in software architecture development. Over the years, he added several other fields of research, including virtualization, cloud computing, overall IT security, and others. Herbert Leitold is Director-General of Secure Information Technology Center Austria A-SIT. He holds a masters in Telecommunication and Informatics from Graz University of Technology. Herbert joined IAIK in 1995 and had research assistant positions until 2015. From 2005 to 2012 he was director of the eGovernment Innovation Center EGIZ and from 2004 to 2022 director of the non-profit foundation Stftung Secure Information and Communication Technologies - SIC. Herbert joined A-SIT in 2002 as head of technology assesment, became A-SIT board member as Secretary-General in 2015 and since 2021 is A-SIT 's Director-General. | |
Elmar Reif is Chief Product Officer (CPO) at PXL Vision, a leading Swiss company in the field of digital identity verification. With his extensive experience in product management and his passion for innovative technologies, he is responsible for the company's product strategy and development. Prior to joining PXL Vision, Elmar Reif gained extensive experience in various positions in the technology and banking sector and is now developing user-centric solutions at PXL Vision that are revolutionizing the way digital identities are verified. | |
Marc Bütikofer is Head of Innovation for Ergon Informatik's Airlock Security products and an expert in authentication solutions, secure web applications, identity management and cryptography. With his extensive knowledge, he now advises international companies with the highest security requirements. After studying computer science at ETH Zurich, he has been part of Ergon Informatik AG since 2000 and has made a significant contribution to Airlock IAM. | |
Thomas Kohl is Director International Business at Airlock and an expert in web application security. With more than 15 years of experience in this field, he strengthens the Airlock sales team and is responsible for active business development in Germany and internationally.
