To promote the new 1 Series, BMW wanted to create a destination site for its young, urban, savvy customers. Working alongside PR agency Slice and Emap, Airlock designed, built, and developed the digital strategy for 1Off, a website offering bite-sized reviews of handpicked experiences in UK cities.
The slick, glossy site includes celebrity interviews and podcasts, local reviews of little-known gems, and thriving community forums. The site is designed to be as engaging, practical and interactive as possible, with print-ready maps and listings, easily navigable content and customisable personal profile pages.
The site's crowning glory, though, is its integration of Google Maps, which allow users to get a bird's eye view of their city's treasures, as well as find their nearest BMW dealer to take the 1 Series out for a spin.
