Maestro was a BBC2 reality TV show about conducting.

The aim of the series was to raise interest in the art of conducting, break down some of the barriers to entry into the world of classical music and inject an extreme dose of excitement and energy by using a celebrity-based talent competition format.

The site supported the series with all the latest news and exclusive video content from the show. The site further allowed users to learn more about conducting, discover and listen to the music used on the shows, get tips from the mentors and try out conducting themselves through a specially commissioned game that allowed them to conduct their own virtual orchestra.

The site has been designed to function as a stand-alone resource on conducting and will live on beyond the broadcast life of the show itself.
